Rockford will host the Feast of Jamál on Tuesday, April 28, 7PM at the Rockford Bahá’í Center, 1650 Alpine Rd., Rockford. Please bring a snack toshare. Sharon Davis is hosting. FeastsThe Nineteen Day Feast occurs at the beginning of every Bahá’í month. It isan institution of the Bahá’í Faith in which all enrolled members areencouraged to participate. The Feast is spiritual in nature, and consists ofcommunity worship and socializing, but the feature that distinguishes it fromother Bahá’í gatherings is the administrative portion in which the institutionsof the Faith consult with the community. The Local Spiritual Assembly ofRockford encourages all registered Bahá’ís to attend . The Feast is anopportunity to deepen friendships and share ideas for the community.
